Eric and I paid Shinya Kimura of Chabott engineering a visit yesterday. I live right down the street from his shop and we always talked about going. I never thought it would of been so inviting like it was. The plan was to check out the shop real quick and go ride Azusa canyon right after. Well we never did the second part because of all our time was spent drooling over Shinya bikes. When we arrived to the shop Shinya was outside working on the MV his newest build. He stopped on what he was doing to greet us and talk about our bikes. I had know idea there was a gallery of his work upstairs until he mentioned it. I asked him if i could take photos and he said yes there is "no secrets". There was so much to look at and take in. I only shot a fraction of what we saw and I am a little bummed I didn't get a picture of his 1915 Indian. I was just lost in the moment. On a good note, he said we can visit anytime and I will definitely take him up on his offer. Shinya, thanks for being so kind and we will see you soon! I hope you enjoy the photos.
